Mmmm... just attended the orientation or should I say briefing conducted in my son's soon school. The teacher discussed the difference between the traditional and transitional kindergarten and that parents should assess their child's readiness in going to school and categorize to where they should enroll him... Well, as of my assessment to my son , I'm 100% sure to enroll him in the traditional kindergarten class.

One week more and let the school year 2011-2012 begin! Me and hubby are so excited for our eldest first day of school, been preparing them both kids and they too are excited... excited to meet new playmates :D Well good luck to all students and to us parents!

Kids are having fun! Sand, water and of course the heat! Do everybody has to experience this way? I've been unhappy for the previous days and have difficulty of coping it up. Ive been so vulnerable for small things, I easily get upset and easily get irritated. Lately,I had succesive bad dreams and afraid about it because its about my death.I cant forget about... I want to tell all about it to someone who would show sympathy regarding my fear... my feelings... One problem for me if Im unhappy I tend to remember sad memories and the more that im becoming unhappy and depressed. HELP!!!

Fun! fun! fun! 4 hours in the pool??? Sounds tiry right? But not to my kids. Just last night me and hubby discussed of going to aqua park and today morning we hit the busy going to the park. Just yesterday me and hubby went to eye clinic for check up and the ophthalmologist suggested that I need to wear back my specs. As what my first Dr told,somethings wrong with my left eye that I need to wear one and here's the exciting part!!! CHOOSING A FRAME!!! Fit this,fit that,fit this, fit that and finally I picked one.

Some says that you need to forget work when youre at home, but as a mom and a carer I need to update or review regarding the case/s that I've handled for better care and improvement.

Perinatal Asphyxia

What is Perinatal Asphyxia?
Perinatal asphyxia, or birth asphyxia, results from an inadequate intake of oxygen by the baby during the birth process - before, during, or just after birth. Decreased oxygen intake can result in chemical changes in the baby's body that include hypoxemia, or low levels of oxygen in the blood, and acidosis, in which too much acid builds up in the blood.

Symptoms
Symptoms of birth asphyxia may not be obvious, but the most common symptoms include:
Before birth, abnormal fetal heart rate and low pH levels, indicating too much acid
At birth, poor skin color, low heart rate, weak muscle tone, gasping or weak breathing, and meconium stained amniotic fluid

Diagnosis
Severe acid levels
Apgar score of 0 to 3 for longer than 5 minutes
Evidence of neurologic problems, including coma and seizure
Problems with one or more organ systems, including circulatory, digestive and respiratory

Treatment
Treatment may include:
giving the mother extra amounts of oxygen before delivery

Breakfast at McDonald's

This is a good story and is true, please read it all the way through until the end! (After the story, there are some very interesting facts!):

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my college degree.
The last class I had to take was Sociology.
The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish every human being had been graced with.
Her last project of the term was called, 'Smile.'
The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document their reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello anyway. So, I thought this would be a piece of cake,
literally.
Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and I went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.
It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden everyone around us began to back away, and then
even my husband did.
I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up inside of me as I turned to see why they had moved.
As I turned around I smelled a horrible 'dirty body' smell, and there standing behind me were two poor homeless men.
As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was 'smiling'
His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for acceptance.
He said, 'Good day' as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed gentleman was his salvation.
I held my tears as I stood there with them.
The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.
He said, 'Coffee is all Miss' because that was all they could afford. (If they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy something. He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached out and embraced the little man with the blue eyes. That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me, judging my every action.
I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two more breakfast meals on a separate tray.
I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as a resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the blue-eyed gentleman's cold hand.
He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, 'Thank you.'

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, 'I did not do this for you. God is here working through me to give you hope.'
I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I sat down my husband smiled at me and said, 'That is why God gave you to me, Honey, to give me hope..'
We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because of the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.
That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love.
I returned to college, on the last evening of class, with this story in hand.
I turned in 'my project' and the instructor read it.
Then she looked up at me and said, 'Can I share this?'
I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and being part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.
In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my son,the instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night I spent as a college student.
I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:

Happy Anniversary to us!!!

I started my day yesterday happy because when hubby came home from night duty, he brought me bouquet and placed it beside me then he woke me up with morning kiss!!! So sweet of him. We celebrated it in a simple way. First, our computer need to be fixed so we dropped it to the service center then we went to the mall for a movie, just both of us. After that we went home so hubby can have a rest. In the evening we had our dinner at Chili's restaurant with the kids and with my sis Ally. My day ended happy and praying to reach golden anniversary, hehehe. I love you, honey!!!

My friend and her family will be leaving Kuwait soon for good and go back to Philippines to take care of her kids. Im sad that we will not be seeing for years maybe. Her name is Bel. It's Christmas time once again!!! For me this means love, family, sharing, reunoin, caroling, singing, praying , parties here and parties there!!! AND GIFTS!!! hoohoow! me and dree(my husband) are planning to give printed layouts in frame for our friends kids and last Wednesday (its my dayoff) I finished 2 layouts and more to go. Just to be honest, I'm inspired to make layouts because of INSPIRATIONAL WORDS that I got from PINOYSCRAPBOOKERS. Thanks a lot guys!!!

Alyssa Maree.... LUCKY BABY...that's what she is. you know why? coz she was born 7-7-7 @ 7:03pm. now, she's more than 3 months old and started to smile , giggle and put herself in prone position. how i wish i could witness personally her first step, first word, first tooth hehehe just like her brother.
